The higher the transmitting antenna is errected, the further the signal goes above the horizon, over
curvature of earth, and the better transmissions are made.
The farther away you are from the transmission station tower, the more Gain the antenna needs to have.
Gain sensitivity is measured in decibals-dB. US HD Direct, has developed our antenna products, with highest gain.
On occasion antennas may have interference from metallic objects, such as planes, jets, etc..
Antenna location, higher is usually Better. Six to eight feet above roof should be adequate.
Buildings or other obstructions, should not block, the line of sight, to transmission tower.
Masts taller than 10 feet, need guide wires, maximum height is 12 feet above roof, beyond 12 feet, may be
subject to local permitting requirements.
